Diesel/Petrol Mechanic
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced diesel/petrol technician to join our Christchurch branch who understands the meaning of team and who wants a long-term opportunity. A minimum qualification for an apprentice is applicants who will have preferably completed their qualifications in Heavy Automotive Engineering, Plant & Equipment Level 3 with a full clean class one drivers license
Reporting to the Workshop Foreman, key responsibility is
- For the servicing and maintenance of a wide variety of diesel / petrol engines and other equipment as required
- To provide technical advice on servicing issues to customers
- Maintaining accurate job card and timesheet records
We provide our customers with “first class” service so we are seeking a qualified diesel mechanic who possesses great communication and customer service skills with good attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. A great team environment exists and our staff are well looked after.
This is a full-time role based on 42.5 hours per week. Opportunity exists for flexibility with start and finish times.
